I have reviewed tons of packable bags for travel and everyday. Of everything I found from Eagle Creek, Patagonia, REI, etc. This has been my favorite. Even among Matador’s other bags, this is my favorite.
Some of the top reasons I like this bag are:
– Packs super tiny
– Durable(ish) ripstop nylon
– Looks clean and modern
– Works as a backpack
– Big enough for a week of groceries
– Weather proof
The fit and finish of this bag is killer. This is a bag you’ll want to use, and while it is definitely not as durable as a ruck sack, it will hold up for years. Of all the other packable bags I used, this is the only one that was a clear yes when I asked the question would I want to use this bag.
This video covers the Transit30 2.0, but honestly the 1.0 is just as great of a bag if you find either. For those trying to decide between the Transit30 and Matador’s other bag, I recommend this one still. I have tried all their other bags and this one stood out most.
