Proper Protective Gear (12/13)

If you plan on doing any sort of dangerous activities, spend a little extra money to make sure you are getting the proper protective gear.
When I rolled through Asia on my motorbike, I made sure I did it with a full face helmet, riding gloves, and heavy jeans.
I saw a lot of tourists doing the same with no helmet or a soft helmet that is as good as nothing at all, shorts, and flip flops.
I also saw a lot of tourists with some of the gnarliest road rashes I’ve ever seen.
No matter what activity you plan on doing, be smart make sure you are using reliable safety gear.
Don’t be afraid to turn down an activity if you cant find or are not provided the right protective gear.
Selfies are best shared with friends in person.
Not at a funeral.
